BUCKET CONVEYORS

Description
These conveyors serve to transport pile materials that are not adhesive in a vertical or downward angle at temperatures of up to 170°C. These are mainly use in the food industry, in agriculture, in chemical and glass industries and in heavy industry. This equipment works alone or in concert with other machinery and technical lines. Materials are carried via buckets. Transported materials enter via the hopper to the conveyor at the bottom head of the bucket where it is caught by a bucket and carried vertically to the end of the conveyor where the bucket is then emptied by centrifugal force. A bucket conveyor is a construction structure comprised of modules. The entire conveyor is covered by a cover that limits dust generation. The structure of individual modules is load-bearing and is produced from Class 11 steel. A bucket conveyor has its own drive. Electrical connections must meet the conditions in STN (Slovak Technical Standard) 33 2000-3. A belt conveyor can be used both indoors and outdoors. A bucket conveyor cannot be used to carry materials that dimensionally cannot pass through the feed hopper.
