- the company was formed in 1996 via the transformation of the private firm Ekotechna, which had been on the Slovak market since 1991 with focus on the delivery of industrial dust collectors and other environmental concerns, as the legal successor to this original company.
Ekotechna – Ing. Urbánek Tibor initially focused on partial deliveries of components of dust collection systems and this program was developed over time to include the delivery of complete dust collection systems. In addition the requirements for partial and complete deliveries of HVAC equipment were collected and our company expanded its business activities to include the manufacture and delivery of HVAC equipment in 1993. At the end of 1996 and the beginning of 1997 the company acquired its own business premises that offered opportunities to expand resulting in the refurbishment and addition of equipment for producing HVAC equipment in order to achieve the highest levels of manufacturing quality. In 1997 the company commenced production of FR-SP and PR-JET filters. Since 1999 the company has been a certified filter equipment manufacture for use in explosive environments (Certificate No. P/03586/104/4/99 issued by TSÚ (Testing Office) Piešťany) as well as certification for ST1 and ST2 explosive environments (Certificate No. FTZÚ 98 Ex 0962 issued by FTZÚ Ostrava-Radvanice as recognised by TSÚ Piešťany) since 1998.
